Background
- Aces High team 176 was founded in 1996 by Dave Leenhouts and William Pease (additional engineer)
- For over 10 years Aces High hosted the Suffield Shakedown pre-season event
- In 2016 our team founded an FTC team which lasted three seasons
- In 2018 our team founded an FLL team and we continue to support and build this team today!
- Aces High partnered with 4-H in 2019
- Aces High won the World Championship in 1999 at Epcot
- One of our founding mentors Dave Leenhouts was the first winner of the Woodie Flowers Finalist award in Connecticut in 2005, the first year it was given
